Growing up in a public housing project Fort Greene, in the heart of Brooklyn, New York Corinne was presented with challenges that shaped her character and fueled her determination to rise above adversity. The urban environment was harsh, and childhood was far from idyllic. Her mother and stepfather were both addicted to heroin, which meant that she had to assume adult responsibilities at a young age. Life in the “projects” was chaotic and unstable. At the age of 11, she made a life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. The profound moment marked the beginning of a journey filled with faith, hope, and a commitment to serve the Lord. Throughout the ups and downs of life, her faith has been an unwavering anchor, guiding her through challenges and providing her with strength, comfort, and purpose. It has shaped her character, influenced decisions, and given her a profound sense of belonging and meaning. Today, Corinne is the proud matriarch of her family as a wife, mother, HR Executive, Professor, Author, 1st generation college graduate, and business owner! She will also be the 1st in her family (on both sides) to hold a doctorate degree in Strategic Leadership from Regent University in 2024!
